1. I have read the Northfields Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy, including local arrangements for safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
2. I have read Part One of KCSIE 2025 (Keeping Children Safe in Education) – Safeguarding Information for All Staff.
3. I understand that Annex B of KCSIE 2025 contains further information about specific safeguarding issues (e.g. CSE, CCE, Prevent, FGM) and that I should be familiar with it if my role involves additional safeguarding responsibilities.
Having read the above guidance, I understand my role and responsibilities in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
5. I know who the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and Deputy DSL(s) are at Northfields.
6. I know how to report concerns if I am worried about a child’s wellbeing or safety.
7. I know that all current safeguarding guidance and policies are available via the staff drive and school website, and I will refer to these when needed.
